Creative Hair
In Hair By Tay Tay we don't think inside the box we are open to trying all new things no matter what we love testing the boundaries of color! We can start with a few flicks of bright color underneath but be warned bright hair is addictive and by your next appointment you will be asking for it all over! The easiest colors to try out would be Red, Orange, Yellow & Pink as you can change the colors up very easily. Blue, Teal, Green & Purple although they are the most popular colors, they fade to a Mint Green that does NOT come out of the hair so if you're looking for a once off color these may not be the ones for you.
Blondes, White & Silvers
These beautiful colors are the most high maintenance. To achieve White or Silver we must get the hair to the lightest blonde (like the inside of a banana peel for example) then you will be rebooked for 5 weeks time for a top up of your toner. If you get an on scalp/off scalp (highlights) appointment you will need to get your roots topped up every 5 weeks as if you leave it any longer inbetween appointments your roots won't lift as clean and it will become a double service. If you get your blonde, white or silver in a balayage, once we lift your hair as light as we need it to be then we only need to bleach it every 3 months to bring you roots up higher again.
Weft Extensions
Weft hair extensions are the new way forward! There is no heat damage to the hair as they are applied with a micro bond then just clamped onto the hair & sewn in. They blend seamlessly even in the thickest of hair! The hair can be reused for 12-18 months or even longer depending on home care. Once applied they need to be refitted every 6 weeks and then the micro bonds need to be replaced every 3-4 appointments. They are 100% ethically sourced human hair.
