Story
Hair by TayTay is a salon like no other. When designing this space and opening up the shop I had one goal in mind, not to be a basic clinical salon. This means I wanted color everywhere inside, I wanted a STRICT no judgement policy enforced as it's a place to be whoever you want to be. Home away from home as some clients refer it too. Just pop in throw yourself down and lets have a chat or do you want a silent appointment? no problem shoot me a text beforehand or just let me know when you come in and once the consultation is over you will be free to chill out or just use your phone in peace whatever works for you is good with us!

We are a little bit different here as the owner, Taylor, is neurodivergent. What does that mean? She has Dyspraxia so her brain works a little bit different and is very sensory aware. Because of this we focused on having the lights not too bright & the music not too loud (but still an amazing playlist). Her hairdryers are also a little quieter than others which help out for people that get overwhelmed with noise. If you happen to feel any bit over whelmed at any time (because trust me I know what its like when it hits you like a truck) feel free to pop out the back of the Salon in private until your comfortable to sit back down.

We pride ourselves on healthy hair and getting you your hair goals BUT sometimes this must be done over several appointments (Rome wasn't built in a day was it?) Theres a saying in the salon "What's the point getting your hair the color you want if it all ends up on the floor" so we prioritise the health of your hair first!

As much as we adore and specialise in Bright Colors we also love doing all things natural too it's just as fun for us! All we care about is making your day a little bit brighter by helping you with your hair journey plus the head massages always help too!
